To provide a method for creating a signal item table capable of reducing a creation cost of the signal item table by converting an instruction item and efficiently performing matching.
The method for creating a signal item table is provided for creating a signal item table 3 in which a communication address and hardware address of a same instruction item are associated with each other, from a bus item table 1 having a plurality of types of data in which an instruction item and a communication address are associated with each other, and an IO sequence table 2 having a plurality of types of data in which an instruction item and a communication address are associated with each other. The method includes: a first matching process (a) for matching the instruction item of the bus item table with the instruction item of the IO sequence table; a conversion process b for converting a non-matching instruction item of the bus item table that does not match therewith; and a second matching process c, after the conversion process, matching the instruction item of the bus item table with the instruction item of the IO sequence table and creating the signal item table 3.
