Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating a farm product, allowing for (1) eliminating any ventilating operation, (2) causing no 'blight phenomenon' due to high temperature injury, (3) eliminating cultivating crop staining, and (4) the outbreak of no disease injury of the cultivating crop due to dew condensation.
SOLUTION: This method for cultivating a farm product involves providing a mulching film 2 covering a ridge face in a tunnel covered with a film 1 for the tunnel and providing a nonwoven fabric 3 covering a cultivating crop above the mulching film 2; wherein it is characteristic that the film 1 for the tunnel has a plurality of ventilating holes 10, the opening ratio for the film 1 [the ratio of the opening area of the ventilating holes to the whole area of the film 1 (prior to covering)] is 0.004-0.06, and the nonwoven fabric 3 comprises split fibers made from a polyvinyl alcohol-based synthetic resin.
