PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating seaweed, intended for omitting labor of removing seaweed from a substrate such as thread when collecting cultivated seaweed and equally growing from spores a seaweed body in a condition of being floated. SOLUTION: This method for cultivating seaweed comprises sowing in a high density the spores of seaweed on a flat plate to stick the spores to each other, requiring no substrate through forming and culturing agglomerate and cultivating the seaweed while floating the agglomerate to equally grow the seaweed.
