Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel cell-culturing method for three-dimensionally culturing cells.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a cell-culturing method for culturing cells using a chitin gel as a culture substrate. The chitin gel is prepared such that chitosan is treated and gelled with an acetylating agent. The present invention also provides a cell-culturing method for culturing cells using a chitin gel as a culture substrate that contains chitin as a main ingredient and an acetylation rate of the amino group in the chitin is 90 mol% or greater and less than 100 mol%. The present invention further provides a cell-culturing device used for the cell-culturing method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
