Abstract:
To provide a cutting method capable of continuously cutting a soft ceramic extrusion molded object having a honeycomb structure without deforming a cut surface and generating the collapse of cells.
The soft ceramic honeycomb extrusion molded object is cut using an extremely fine steel wire with a wire diameter of 0.01-0.2 mm having a tensile strength of 3,500 n/mm2 or more and a draw of 30% or more.
