Abstract:

To provide a method for cutting fluid conduit, capable of recovering a support stand from the inside of a housing.

The method for cutting a fluid conduit 1 is provided for cutting the fluid conduit 1 in a state without stopping flow by causing a cutter member 52 to proceed toward the radial direction of the fluid conduit 1, and for installing a flow control body 11 that controls the flow of fluid in the housing 2, in the housing 2 attached to the fluid conduit 1 to be a sealed state. The method includes: a step of cutting the fluid conduit 1 in the range containing a part engaged with the support stand 40 by an engagement means 41, by means of the cutter member 52, in such a state that the support stand 40 is arranged on the side opposite to the cutter member 52 of the fluid conduit 1 in the housing 2 and the fluid conduit 1 and the support stand 40 are engaged by the engagement means 41; a subsequent step of retaining a cut piece 1b produced by cutting the fluid conduit 1 by using a retention means 53; and a step of recovering the cut piece, together with the support stand 40 engaged with the cut piece 1b, from the inside of the housing 2.
