METHOD FOR CUTTING ORIGINAL SHEET OF PRINTED WIRING AND ITS DEVICE

PURPOSE:To lengthen the life of a saw blade as well as to enable a cutting method giving a satisfactory cutting surface by cutting the original sheet of a printed wiring by the use of a saw blade while blowing cooling air to sections in order to keep the temperature of cut sections below the seizure temperature between the original sheet and the saw blade. CONSTITUTION:A saw blade 1 which is rotated at high speeds via a driving device 3 is fed to the direction indicated by an arrow head 6 against the original sheet 2 of a printed wiring held at a specified cutting position so as to cut the original sheet 2 off. A compressor is controlled to be turned on at the time of cutting so that the cutting is processed while cooling air is blown against cutting sections 13 and 14 from respective upper and lower nozzles 7 and 8. The feeding of the saw blade 1 to the direction indicated by the arrow head 6 is suspended at the time when the quantity of cutting by the saw blade 1 comes to a specified one, the saw blade 1 is moved downward so as to be retreated thereafter, and then, the saw blade 1 is returned to the original position. In the second place, the original sheet 2 is cut off in the direction perpendicular to the arrow head direction 6 by means of a saw blade which is different from the saw blade 1 and is freely controlled to be fed to the direction perpendicular to the feeding direction 6 of the saw blade 1. Thus, the temperature of the cutting sections 13 and 14 of the original sheet 2 can be lowered down to one less than a specified temperature.
