To automatically report the present condition easily producing a defective product by automatically estimating and discriminating a shot having high fear of producing the defective product caused by the injecting an casting condition without needing difficult setting of user and operation.
In the actual casting process in a die casting machine 1, the injecting and casting conditions of an injection speed, speed changing position, high speed range, pressure boosting time, casting pressure, die clamping force, etc., are automatically measured at each shot with measuring means 3, 5, 7. In the case of operating a normal quality product button 23 by an operator operation, the measured values in the injecting an casting conditions on this shot are set to a memory 15 as reference values for deciding the normal/ defective quality of the product. The normal-defective quality deciding range is set by giving the upper limit value and the lower limit value in a prescribed allowable range to this reference value and thereafter, it is discriminated whether the measured value in the injecting and casting conditions is in the normal quality deciding range or not, through an arithmetic processing means 13, and in the case of being out of the range, an alarm 19 is acted.
