Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the need to update a state wherein an object body is absent by making a presence decision by deciding the continuity of motion in the state wherein an object body is absence and, deciding the continuity of a state wherein there is no motion in a state wherein the object body is present.
CONSTITUTION: A preceding presence decision result 231 is referred to and when there is no presence, motion detection 232 is performed; when no motion is detected, a decision result 236 showing that there is no object body is obtained to hold a decision result 238. For the motion detection 232, the continuity 234 of motion is decided and when it is decided that there is no continuity of motion, a decision result 236 showing that there is no object is obtained to hold the decision result 238. When a decision 234 showing that there is the continuity of motion is obtained, a decision result 237 showing that there is an object is obtained and the decision result 238 is held. In a case 231 wherein presence is obtained, motion detection 233 is performed and when motion is detected, an object presence decision result 237 is obtained to hold the decision result 238; when no motion is detected, its continuity 235 is decided.
