Title:
METHOD FOR DECIDING UNDERFIXATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3821792
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deciding underfixation capable of exactly detecting the presence or absence of the insufficiency of a light quantity for fixing in a TA system recorder.
SOLUTION: The method includes an inspection region assuring step S1 of forming second print information by adding the prescribed region of a heat sensitive recording material as an inspection region of not causing thermal color development regardless of the first print information to the first print information, a first color developing step S2 of developing the first color in accordance with the second print information, a photofixing step S3 of fixing the first color by irradiating the heat sensitive recording material subjected to thermal color development of the first color with the prescribed light for the prescribed time, an inspecting and heating step S4 of heating the inspection region up to the temperature of the level at which the first color is developed next thereto, and a developed color measuring step S5 of determining the measured density of the first color of the inspection region next thereto. When the density measured in the developed color measuring step is darker than the prescribed standard density, decision is made that the photofixing step is the underfixation (S6) and a prescribed alarm is outputted.
