Title:
METHOD FOR DECOMPOSING BY-PRODUCT ON PRODUCTION OF (METH)ACRYLIC ACID COMPOUNDS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3925401
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adhesion, deposition and accumulation of solid products to enable the stable maintenance of the high recovery of (meth)acrylic acid, a (meth)acrylate and an alcohol and a stable continuous operation over a long period, when Michael addition reaction products produced as by-products in a process for producing the (meth)acrylic acid and/or the (meth)acrylate are decomposed by a reaction distillation method to recover valuable products.
SOLUTION: This method for decomposing the by-products on the production of the (meth)acrylic acid compounds, comprising introducing the by-products on the production of the (meth)acrylic acid and/or the by-products on the production of the (meth)acrylate into a reactor equipped with a distillation tower to thermally decompose and simultaneously distil the by-products to recover the valuable compounds, is characterized by using a distillation tower 1 having disk and doughnut type trays 2A, 2B therein as the distillation tower.
