Abstract:
To provide a method for effectively decomposing a waste plastic of unknown composition.
When a waste plastic of unknown composition is subjected to decomposition treatment with a solvent in a super- or sub-critical state under the coexistence of a catalyst, the composition of the waste plastic is analyzed before the decomposition treatment, and the decomposition treatment is conducted after conditions for the decomposition treatment of the waste plastic are set depending on thus obtained composition.
