PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decoratively fixing a part for decoration onto a pile surface of an article having a pile layer safely and firmly.SOLUTION: The method for decoratively fixing a part for decoration is a method for decoratively fixing a part for decoration to a pile surface of an article having a pile layer. The pile layer is a base fabric having a synthetic fiber pile yarn. At a portion to be decoratively fixed of the part for decoration, a tip of the synthetic fiber pile yarn is thermally fused by an iron to form a depressed hole that has a shape substantially same with that of the part for decoration and has a substantially flat bottom. An adhesion layer is formed between the bottom of the depressed hole and a bottom of the part for decoration to decoratively fix the part for decoration in the pile layer. When the depth of the depressed hole is denoted by d and the height of the part for decoration is denoted by H, H/d is set to 0.6-1.6.
