Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dehydrating organic sludge, in which a large and strong coagulated floc is formed, and the floc can allow the amount of the treated liquid to be made larger, the suspended solid amount of the treated liquid to be made smaller and the water content of the dehydrated cake to be made lower.SOLUTION: The method for dehydrating organic sludge comprises the steps of: adding sludge dehydrating agents to the organic sludge; and dehydrating the sludge dehydrating agent-added sludge by using a dehydrator. As the sludge dehydrating agents, a mixture of an amidine-based amphoteric polymer containing an amidine constituent unit and a (meth)acrylic acid constituent unit as essential components and an ester-based cationic polymer containing a cationic (meth)acrylate constituent unit as an essential component is used and an ester-based amphoteric polymer containing a cationic (meth)acrylate constituent unit and another (meth)acrylic acid constituent unit as essential components is used.
