Title:
METHOD FOR DEHYDRATION AND SOLIDIFICATION OF SOIL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007330943
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method capable of improving the quality of construction generating soil so that the treated soil can be widely used since it can be classified as or better than class 3 construction generating soil (cone index 400 kN/m2or more) prescribed as the soil property classification standards in a Land, Infrastructure, and Transportation Ministry Ordinance, and, moreover, capable of obtaining safe improved soil via effective dehydration and solidification.

Dredged soil from dams, lakes, marshes, or rivers, etc. is loaded with a dehydration aid 9 including a natural high-polymer coagulant of 0.5 to 2.2 kg/m3or more whose main component is sodium alginate, an inorganic high-polymer coagulant of 10 kg/m3or less whose main component is an alkaline polymeric inorganic salt, and dolomite of 2 to 23 kg/m3or less. The mixture is then subjected to a mechanical dehydrating treatment, and next loaded with the dolomite of 90 kg/m3or more as a solidification agent 12 for a solidification treatment.
