Title:
METHOD FOR DEPHOSPHORIZING MOLTEN IRON IN CONVERTER TYPE REFINING VESSEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10245615
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To recycle iron and to smoothly dephosphorize by reusing magnetic waste produced in dephosphorization and/or decarburization.

(a) The slag produced in the dephosphorization and/or the decarburization is subjected to magnetic separation in advance and selected into a part containing much iron content (magnetic slag) and a part containing small iron content. (b) The part containing much iron content (magnetic slag) and molten iron are charged into a converter type refining vessel to executed the dephosphorize-refining. Further, prior to the charge of the molten iron, it is desirable to charge the part containing much iron content (magnetic slag) into the converter type refining vessel for executing dephosphorization in advance.
