To provide a method for designing mix proportion of porous concrete by calculating the amount of each material to be used per unit volume of the porous concrete based on a design void content, physical properties of materials to be used and a theoretical formula for void content.
The method for designing mix proportion of porous concrete uses the formula (1) for conducting mix proportion design to obtain a target void content after setting the target void content. In formula (1), Vc represents a void content (m3) of the porous concrete, Gg represents a percentage solid (%), Km represents a ratio of mortar coarse aggregate to void content and represents a mass ratio of the amount of the mortar covering the entire surface of the coarse aggregate with a uniform thickness to the total amount of the mortar in a unit volume of the porous concrete.
