Abstract:

To provide a low cost denitrating process by using reaction heat by oxidation reaction of CO in exhaust gas after desulfurizing and denitrating as a means for raising the temperature of the exhaust gas in the method for denitrating by ammonium catalyst reduction (SCR) in cleaning the exhaust gas of a sintering furnace.

CO in the exhaust gas of the sintering furnace after desulfurizing and denitrating is oxidized with a CO oxidizing catalyst with a high specific surface area comprising copper oxide and manganese dioxide and the temperature of the exhaust gas of the sintering furnace before denitration is raised using the reaction heat of the same.
