Abstract:
To provide a new DNA probe which shows a very large difference in the electrochemical response between a perfect complementary strand and SNP and can obtain an almost digital on/off response, and a method of detecting a complementary strand nucleic acid molecule sequence and a method of detecting SNP which use the probe.
A nonnatural nucleoside constituted of an electrochemically active site and nucleic acid bases which are bound via a spacer through which π-electrons can conjugate or its phosphoramidite derivative is provided, and the DNA probe contains the same.
