To provide a concrete soundness determining method and an apparatus for eliminating noises due to actuation of a hammer, by replacing/combining a filtering processing and effectively ensuring repeatability and accuracy of the measured result.
The concrete soundness determining method, a sound-receiving means [with a microphone for collecting impact sound (air vibration) traveling in the concrete and a hood member having the microphone internally mounted and opened in the sound receiving direction] is provided, and disposed away from a hit point, the impact sound traveling in the concrete is collected as air vibration by the sound receiving means, having the hood member adjacent to or in contact with the concrete surface, an analyzing part conducting analyses. The sound-receiving means including the hood and the microphone is supported by a vibration-attenuating mechanism for attenuating the vibration transmitted via a mechanical mechanism for supporting the sound-receiving means, and the noises transmitted to the microphone via the support mechanism is eliminated, when the sound is collected.
