Abstract:
To provide a working unit and a method for detecting a condition of a package brake, which make it possible to identify a take-up unit with poor braking characteristics.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for detecting a condition of a package brake of a working unit that manufactures a take-up package for a textile machine with multiple similar working units, the method including the steps of: detecting an operation of the package brake of the working unit being operated; detecting a rotation speed of the take-up package of the working unit; detecting a diameter of the take-up package of the working unit; obtaining a duration of a braking process of the take-up package from an initial rotation speed to an end rotation speed; transmitting the duration of the braking process and the diameter of the take-up package to a central unit of the textile machine; and obtaining a deviation of the obtained duration of the braking process from an average duration for the braking process stored in the central unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
