Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a problem of operation stop in treatment equipment by surely detecting discharge failure of molten slag from a melting furnace.
SOLUTION: An indicator 12 indicates a temperature of cooling water 3, which changes consequent upon a failure of molten-slag discharge from a melting furnace. An operator in a monitoring room visually monitors the indicated temperature of the cooling water 3 to detect a failure of molten-slag discharge from the melting furnace.
