Title:
METHOD FOR DETECTING HOMINAL AIDS INFECTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02262527
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To detect the human AIDS infection by intracutaneously introducing immunogen AIDS virus envelope proteins into a human body and then observing the immune response at the injection part. CONSTITUTION: The human AIDS infection is detected by intracutaneously injecting immunogen AIDS virus envelope proteins gp120 and p24 preferably on the surface of brachial flexion and then measuring the maximum extent of erythema and induration at the injection part or by other tests such as biopsy. As the above described AIDS virus envelope proteins, those recovered from human T cells infected by AIDS viruses and those obtained by genetic engineering or recombinant AIDS virus envelope proteins are used. Particularly, the phenotype expressed from recombinant insect viruses is preferably used.
