PURPOSE: To enable fuel to be accurately controlled by detecting lift amount and injection pressure of a needle valve in an injection nozzle to figure out injection flow corresponding to the rotational speed of an engine for obtaining feed-back signal corresponding to these detected values.
CONSTITUTION: A needle valve 11 is slidably disposed in a nozzle holder 10 of a fuel injection valve 1, and a needle valve lift sensor 13 is disposed in the rear portion 11b of the needle valve. Also, a pressure sensor 17 is disposed in a recess 10d formed near a fuel passage 10c. Signals eL, eP from both sensors 13, 17 are sent to the input of a central computative processing unit 32 through a injection timing input unit 30 to calculate the optimum injection flow on the basis of engine rotational speed signal en and feed back the result to a pressure controlling valve 71 and injection timing valve 72 of an injection control section 7.
