Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for detecting a liquid leak from a liquid-filled container, for facilitating detection of liquid leaks during inspection of the sealing performance of the liquid-filled container.
CONSTITUTION: In a method for detecting a liquid leak between the transparent or semitransparent cylindrical container main body 2 filled with a liquid 3 and the sealing member 4 of a liquid-filled container 1 with the sealing member 4 fitted into the main body 2 to seal the main body, light radiated by a light emitting portion 11 serving as an illuminating means is transmitted along the side wall of the container main body 2 from one end of the container main body 2 and parallel to the direction in which the sealing member 4 is fitted into the container main body 2.
