Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively detect the position of a part while simplifying the light application part of an optical detection means and reducing its size and cost at the time when detecting the position of the chip part which is sucked by the nozzle member of a mounting machine based on the detection of projection using the optical detection means.
SOLUTION: A dot-shaped light source 27a is provided at a light application part 27 of an optical detection means, diffusion light is applied to a chip part 20 which is sucked by a nozzle member, at the same time the nozzle part for sucking the chip part 20 is rotated, the projection of the part at a light reception part 28 of the optical detection means is measured, and the distance at a nozzle rotary angle where the distance to one edge part of projection from a specific reference position is minimized on the above light reception part 28 can be minimized is detected. Then, the position deviation and inclination of the chip part 20 which is sucked by the nozzle member are calculated based on the minimum value and the detection data of the nozzle rotary angle and the known data regarding the position relationship between the light reception part 28 and the nozzle member.
