Abstract:
PURPOSE:To secure excellent electric insulation performance and explosion-proof performance without using any electric signal nor increasing the size of the equipment of a detection part. CONSTITUTION:This position detecting method detects the position of the movable part of the servocontrol equipment represented with an articulation of a robot arm; and a displacement conversion part 20 converts the angular displacement DELTAtheta1 of the movable part into the fine angular displacement DELTAtheta2 of the flapper 11 of a nozzle flapper valve 10, and nozzle back pressures (hydraulic pressure) P1 and P2 which vary with the displacement DELTAtheta2 of the flapper 11 are detected and sent as pressure signals to a control part, which detects the position of the movable part from the pressure signals.
