Abstract:
To provide a method for detecting pavement interlayer stagnant water, which can detect stagnant water between layers in the pavement with high accuracy, which can cause potholes, without being affected by temperature changes on the pavement surface.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for detecting stagnant water 10 in an interlayer 5 between an upper layer 2 of a pavement body and a non-permeable or hardly permeable lower layer 3 by use of a radar antenna 24 capable of continuously transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves at predetermined frequencies, a control unit 21 capable of controlling the radar antenna, and a control PC 20 capable of controlling the control unit and displaying and outputting an analysis result in the pavement body. The horizontal cross section of the upper layer and the lower layer including the interlayer is divided into a plurality of layers 30, and the presence or absence of the stagnant water in the interlayer is detected based on the analysis results in the multiple layers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
