Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract an abnormal noise sunk in a background noise, and to find a direction of a generation source of the abnormal noise generated in the inside of a vehicle.
SOLUTION: The vehicle 1 is excited with prescribed excitation force and an excitation frequency by an excitation device 3 mounted on an excitation table 2. Sounds emitted from the vehicle 1 are converted into electric signals by microphones 5, and the electric signals are filtering-processed by a high-frequency pass filter 6 and a critical band filter 7 to conduct calculation by a loudness level calculating means 41. A loudness level calculated in every critical band is visualized to be displayed in every prescribed range of a fluctuation frequency included in the sounds emitted from the excitation, by a display means 8, and the abnormal noise is detected based on the visualization-displayed loudness level and information of the excitation frequency. Levels of the loudness levels are compared to detect a direction from which the abnormal noise is generated to be transmitted, using the plurality of microphones 5 having directivity.
