Abstract:

To provide a method and equipment for determining the ratio of carbon monoxide in exhaust gas flow, which can achieve improvement in determination of carbon monoxide ratio.

There is provided a method for determining a ratio of carbon monoxide in exhaust gas flow from a regenerative burner-type industrial furnace, particularly from a glass melting furnace, and particularly, there is provided the method for open-loop-controlling and/or closed-loop-controlling the regenerative burner-type industrial furnace. The method determines at least one equilibrium value GW from a plurality of cell voltage values, determines a higher non-equilibrium value compared with the equilibrium value GW, determines a first carbon monoxide ratio representing an equilibrium ratio in exhaust gas, particularly, representing a volume concentration, using the equilibrium value GW, and determines a second carbon monoxide ratio representing a non-equilibrium ratio in exhaust gas using a high non-equilibrium value.
