Abstract:
To provide a determination method or the like of the composition of a catalyst material that helps to develop a catalyst material having high catalytic activity at low temperature.SOLUTION: A determination method of the composition a catalyst material has the following steps. A base element, a first gas, and a second gas are determined. Following E1 and E2 are calculated for at least one candidate for a dope element. Following E3 and E4 are calculated. The candidate that meets following condition 1 and condition 2 is determined for the dope element. E1: adsorption energy between the catalyst material and the first gas. E2: adsorption energy between the catalyst material and the second gas. E3: adsorption energy between the base element and the first gas. E4: adsorption energy between the base element and the second gas. Condition 1: |E1-E2|<|E3-E4|. Condition 2: In the case of E3>E4, E3>E1 and in the case of E3E2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
