Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining fastening axial force of a tapping screw on a computer monitor screen which can display the fastening axial force of the tapping screw to determine optimal fastening axial force and a display device of the same.SOLUTION: With a method for determining fastening axial force of a tapping screw, a pressure sensor 10 is disposed between a fastening member 9 and a fastened member 11 that are coupled by a tapping screw 8 to be measured and vertically arranged with a rotational torque analyzer having a screw bit 6 and a rotational torque sensor. A tapping screw 8 engaged with the screw bit 6 is inserted from above the fastened member 11 and fastening is started. Based on data from the rotational torque sensor and data from the pressure sensor 10 during a period before a female screw is broken, target fastening torque of the tapping screw and/or fastening axial force of the tapping screw is determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
