PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting working of a mechanical watch in consideration of actual conditions of use of the watch.SOLUTION: A method for determining a parameters for adjusting a mechanical watch using an electronic device is provided. The electronic device comprises: at least one measurement sensor provided for a measuring parameter to which the electronic device is subjected; and a data transmission device provided for transmitting data provided by the measurement sensor to a data receiving device which is external to a mechanical watch. The method includes successively: a step 20 of periodically measuring, with the measurement sensor, a value of a physical parameter to which the electronic device is subjected; a step 22 of transmitting the data provided by the measurement sensor to the external data receiving device; a step 24 of recording and analyzing the data transmitted to the data receiving device with a view to deducing therefrom the conditions to which the electronic device is subjected; and a step 26 of determining parameters for adjusting working of the mechanical watch in accordance with the conditions of use.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
