Abstract:
To provide a method for determining a microorganism or a gene by a quantitative PCR method by which the accuracy of the determination is secured even for a sample in which the recovery of the DNA is low and a large amount of impurities is contained.
The method for determining the target microorganism or gene present in the test sample by collecting a nucleic acid sample from the test sample, and carrying out the quantitative PCR by using the nucleic acid sample as a template is characterized by the use of two or more kinds of standard materials in a step for collecting the nucleic acid sample and a step for carrying out the quantitative PCR.
