Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an easy adjusting method for a synchronizable light source by performing rotation of slide surface and translational positioning for rough adjustment, and performing fine adjustment according to the radiation output of a light source or the measurement result of a current.
CONSTITUTION: A diffraction lattice 7 is positioned on an optical axis on the side of first surface 4 of a laser. The lattice 7 is allowed to rotate freely about an axis 8, crossing an axis 3 of the laser at an angle of 90°. The lattice 7 rotates, in response, as a function of the frequency, the wavelength of light for rough adjustment. For fine adjustment of a light source, a separator 31 samples the light flux irradiated from the light source, and at a processing unit 33, a power source 2 is controlled so that the intensity of the light flux from the light source is constant, independent of the position of lattice 7, thus deciding a current which flows through the laser. Thereby, an easy adjustment method for a synchronizable light source is obtained.
