Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for adjustment of the voltage in a power system, which can keep the voltage of the transmission line in a power system, regardless of the change of the constitution of the power system, and moreover by which the system operates stably.
A capacitive or inductive reactance element is provided in series to or in parallel with a transmission line. This reactance element is adjusted, based on the impedance obtained from the voltage or the power current of the current of the transmission line of the power system, so as to compensate for the voltage ripples in that transmission line.
