Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a method and device for analyzing the distribution of fringe phases which do not require any plurality of image pickup means nor complicated optical system, can analyze phase information after extracting the information from a fringe picture, and can be applied to a vast range of measurement.
CONSTITUTION: In a phase shifting electronic Moire processing circuit 2, picture signals from an image pickup device 1 and reference grating generator 3 are respectively multiplied by each other by means of three wide-band multipliers 23, 24, and 25 after they are subjected to appropriate pre-processing by means of level clamps 20 and 21, bias offset 22, etc. Then, the products are outputted as three Moire pictures through low-pass filters(LPF) 26, 27, and 28 having appropriate cutoff frequencies.
