Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a practical both surface access type optical disk by reducing the excentricity of the recording track of each optical disk to the center of the rotation of the disk.
CONSTITUTION: The both surface access type optical disk is assembled according to a flow chart. As the keynote, the excentric amount and the excentric direction of a recording track to a spindle hole is measured for each optical disk manufactured in order of a step S-4 to a step S-7 and a mark indicating the excentric direction is added on the optical disk at the step S-4. Two sheets of optical disks are opposed each other at the step 5 and respective excentricity vectors are aligned on one straight line by making to coincide the marks fellow at the step S-6. Then, at least any one side optical disk is moved to the excentric direction or the opposite direction at the step S-7 and the center of the spindle of the optical disk with the less excentric amount and the center of the track of the other optical disk are made to coincide.
