Abstract:
To provide a method of avoiding such a risk that undesired stress is generated on the basis of the application of wrong torque in a method for coupling a pipeline component having a seal element.SOLUTION: A method includes the steps of: bringing a coupling element unit having a female thread into contact with a coupling element unit having a male thread until reaching a beginning point A of compressing a seal element by contacting the seal element, wherein the seal element is arranged on the surface or the inner side of at least one of the coupling element units, and brought into contact with the other coupling element unit; and fastening the coupling element unit having the female thread and the coupling element unit having the male thread until reaching a prescribed threshold B and obtaining the beginning point of compressing the seal element and the threshold on the basis of the change in the relation between a rotation angle and torque during contacting and fastening of screw-in coupling parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
