Abstract:
PURPOSE: To correct the posture and the position of a spool and to secure necessary accuracy in the case of assembling the spool in a lower shell by assembling the spool in an intermediate positioning holder.
CONSTITUTION: A spool core holder 29, the intermediate positioning holder 30 and a lower shell holder 31 are installed on a pallet 28. The pallet 28 is intermittently fed by a pallet conveyor. A lower flange 12a, a spool core 20, and an upper flange 12b are assembled in the holder 29 in a vertical placing state at respective stations. The spool 12 assembled in the holder 29 is changed to a horizontal placing state to be assembled in the holder 30. The lower shell 8 and a cover member 14 are assembled in the holder 31 in the horizontal placing state at the respective stations. The spool 12 assembled in the holder 30 is assembled in the lower shell 8. Finally, the upper shell 7 is combined with the lower shell 8, thereby assembling a cartridge mainbody.
