To provide a method and device for assisting an inspection of construction works for more surely and more uniformly inspecting various defects on site.
The invention concerns the method for assisting an operator who observes the defects at a construction site by providing the operator with a portable terminal displaying images of the construction and inputting data concerning observations, under the control of a software operating with a database of the construction, comprising files defining the images displayed on a terminal graphic interface, data structure relating respectively to types of defects liable to occur in the construction and descriptive data of defects previously observed on the construction, organized in accordance with the associated data structures. In response to the selection of a type of fault by the operator, the software activates a dialogue, by means of the associated data structure, to input parameters describing the defects. The parameters are used to constitute a representation of the defects on the image displayed on the graphic interface and to update the data describing the defects.
