Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable stabilized manufacture of coil having high quality and less error in turns by a method wherein error between the wound number of turns and the specified number of turns is measured at every turn of coil and correction for the number of turn by which the starting of brake is automatically done.

CONSTITUTION: Since a motor 3 begins to rotate and winding begins, wound number of turns of the coil is measured by pulses being transmitted from a rotary encoder 17 to a counter 33. A comparator 34 compares the actual number of turns with the first braking point turn number which is stored in the memory 30, and when the number is got, the halting signal is sent by it to the motor controller 35. Next thereto when the turn number of the coil which is rotating by inertia force reaches the second braking point turn number stored in the memory 31, the comparator 34 sends active signal to the brake actuator 36 and brake is active on the take up shaft. When the take up shaft stops the oerational controller 32 corrects the second braking point turn number which is stored in the memory 31 refering the error which is got by comparing the transmitted actual total number of turn with the specific number of turn and in a necessary case correction is also made on the first braking point turn number stored in the memory 31 and winding operation is always made to be done by the latest data.
