To provide a method for binding dry laver bundles comprising reducing footprint areas occupied by a folding device and a bundling device so as to improve a produced amount of dry laver in a laver production line.

The method for binding dry laver bundles comprises the following process: folding a dry laver bundle (A) with a folding machine 2; simultaneously pushing out a plurality of folded dry laver bundles (AA) on a receiving rack 22 while pushing preceding folded dry laver bundles (AA) disposed on the receiving rack 22 waiting ready so as to be transferred on a carry rack 20 elevating with an elevator 4 from the receiving rack 22; perpendicularly raising the transferred folded dry laver bundles (AA) on the carry rack 20 up to the carry-in level of a bundling machine 3 disposed above the folding machine 2; pushing out the folded dry laver bundles to a folded dry laver receiver 25 of the bundling machine 3 from the raised carry rack 20 while pushing the preceding folded dry laver bundles (AA) waiting ready on the dry laver receiver 25; and transferring the bundles to the bundling part of the bundling machine 3 from the folded dry laver receiver 25 to bundle them.
