Abstract:
To provide a method and device for film roll diameter calculation which can calculate the diameter of a film roll with practically sufficient precision by a very simple configuration.
Perforations of a film strip passing between rollers 76a and 76b are detected by a projector 172 and a photodetector 174 and an interruption signal is generated by an interruption I/O 758 from its detection signal. Then the number of perforations is calculated from a count value of a counter 760 in the timing of the interruption signal and the rotational frequency of the film roll 14 is calculated from the count value of a counter 756; and a roll diameter calculation part 762 calculates the diameter of the film roll 14 according to those calculated values.
