Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for carrying a work of a tandem press line in which teaching of the work carriage locus is easy, the work carrying speed is increased, and a work can be carried directly from a preceding step press to a succeeding step press.
SOLUTION: This method comprises a first step of moving at least a pair of or one lift beam (13) disposed parallel to the work carrying direction in the vertical direction, and a second step of moving at least one carrier (15) along the longitudinal direction of at least one carrier (15), and transversely stretching it between a pair of right and left carriers (15 and 15) facing each other, and offsetting a cross bar (17) having a work holding means (18) capable of holding the work in the carrier moving direction with respect to the carrier (15). The first step and the second step are simultaneously or individually performed to elevate/lower the cross bar (17) and reciprocate it in the work carrying direction, and the work is successively carried to the succeeding step.
