To provide a method and a device for carrying in/out a workpiece or a product to a sheet working machine in which the placing position in the Y-axis direction of a workpiece to a workpiece pallet and the placing position in the Y-axis direction of a product to a product pallet can be made the same.

This invention refers to a method for carrying-in of a workpiece to a sheet working machine and carrying-out of a product therefrom after working are performed. The method includes: a stage where one workpiece on a workpiece pallet 15 is picked up by a one workpiece picking-up device 17; a stage where the workpiece is placed at the prescribed position of a shuttle table 27 which can freely reciprocate between the lower position of the one workpiece picking-up device 17 and the lower position of the carrying-in/out apparatus 3 for carryin in the workpiece and carrying out the product; a stage where a product G after being worked by the sheet working machine 1 is placed on the prescribed position of the shuttle table 27; and a dropping and loading stage where the shuttle table 27 is moved to a product accumulation position, the product G is clamped by a clamping device 35, thereafter, the shuttle table 27 is returned to the original position, further, the clamping of the product G by the clamping device 35 is released, and the product G is dropped and loaded on the product pallet 19.
