Abstract:

To improve car driving behavior by classifying drivers.

In a method for classifying driving styles of car drivers, this device records measured values of driving styles, obtains driving style characteristic numbers by comparing them with a standard value, and sets parameters corresponding to the driving styles for matching the function of an adjust and control device 3. According to this method, the pre-setting of the driving style characteristic numbers is stored in the adjust and control device 3 of a car 2, driving style characteristic numbers can be specified to plural different response steps of drivers, a current driver is graded to a predetermined driver response step by measuring indices classified in the car 2, and the driving style characteristic number corresponding to the driver response step is made to operate in the adjust and control device 3.
