Abstract:
To propose a method cleaning heat transfer tubes without largely reducing the boiler efficiency.
When cleaning surfaces of the heat transfer tubes arranged in a boiler by spraying dry ice and/or fine particles of ice on the heat transfer tubes, the boiler efficiency during operation of the boiler is always monitored, spraying of the dry ice and/or fine ice particles is started as soon as the boiler efficiency is lowered, and an amount of spraying the dry ice and/or the fine ice particles is controlled according to a lowering degree in the boiler efficiency.
