Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively clean a photographic lens attached with a main body base part.
SOLUTION: In the case a holding plate 57 stands in the upper retreat position, a cleaning tape 48 is laid between load rollers 67, 68, fixed rollers 51 and 52, and a tension is applied on the tape 48. When the holding plate 57 descends to a cleaning position and a cleaning head 56 comes into contact with the photographic lens 5, the cleaning tape 48 laid between the load rollers 67 and 68 sags, because the fixed rollers 51 and 52 are not moved. In accordance with the reciprocating rotation of the cleaning head 56 in the range of the sagging cleaning tape 48, the photographic lens 5 is rubbed with the cleaning tape 48, then, dust and the foreign matter sticking on the surface of the lens are removed.
