Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the working diameter with excellent accuracy, and the excellent surface roughness of an inner surface of a worked hole even in a work in the initial working stage by reducing the frequency of conformable fitness in performing the conformable fitness of a grinding wheel for rough finishing and a grinding wheel for finishing while performing the honing to a work.
SOLUTION: When a honing head 1 provided with a grinding wheel 25A for rough finishing and a grinding wheel 25B for finishing is inserted in a worked hole, and an inner surface of the worked hole of a work is ground so as to perform the conformable fitness in the initial stage of the grinding wheels 25A, 25B in the fresh condition of the grinding wheels 25A, 25B, conformable fitness of the grinding wheel 25B is performed by firstly using the grinding wheel 25B for finishing, deterioration of the geometrical accuracy of the inner surface of the worked hole generated by the grinding wheel 25B for finishing is corrected by using the grinding wheel 25A for rough finishing, and the coarse surface roughness of the inner surface of the worked hole generated by the grinding wheel 25A for rough finishing becomes fine by finally using the grinding wheel 25B for finishing.
